This issue focuses on the ways teachers can help children develop social and emotional skills. Articles and activity ideas address separation, emotions, and problem solving. NAEYC also introduces Of Primary Interest, a new column for kindergarten and early elementary teachers, written by members of NAECS/SDE (National Association of Early Childhood Specialists in State Departments of Education).
